There was no disputing that Renji enjoyed battles. The pure rush he got, with adrenaline pumping through his body. It was what drove him to be stronger.
But, he reflected as he carried an exhausted, sleeping Ichigo back home through the streets, there was nothing like the aftermath, when they'd steal quick kisses in between bandaging each other up. Neither was a man to sproud tender nothings at each other, but when it came right down to it... Actions spoke louder that words ever could.
I try and fight against the girl inside with every fibre of my being, really... but sometimes I just fail spectacularly at it and end up with something like this. I feel all.. squishy inside <3
And incidentaly, how many times am I going to change my colouring style until I find one I like ._.;;
